Free template included!

Hey there, Vendpreneur!

Welcome to Becoming a Vendpreneur—where every week I help you navigate the challenges of running a vending machine business, whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your operation.

Today, let’s break down how to create an effective one-page sales flyer for your vending machines. We’ll focus on 3 core elements:

  • Your Three Uniques

  • Your Proven Process

  • Your Guarantee

But before we jump into more details, I want to share a few quick updates on my two businesses, Pod Plug and Vending Machine LaunchPad:

Business Updates

  • 🎤 Hosted our 1st-ever weekly live session at Vending Machine LaunchPad - it was absolutely electric with all the questions people asked. So engaging!

🤝 Forged a partnership with 2 amazing vending suppliers for Vending Machine LaunchPad to get special discounts only for people in our community.

💼 Had 3 investor meetings this week to discuss upcoming expansions and new projects.

🏢 Created a C Corp called Pod Plug, Inc. This entity will own Pod Plug, LLC, and Pod Plug Franchising, LLC.

📊 Had 4 interviews for a business development manager to build out our HubSpot sales backend and establish sales KPIs.

🎥 Finally launched on all video platforms: TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube! Follow me on all 3 and reply to this email to rate how nervous I look on a scale of 1-10! 😅

In vending, a killer one-page sales flyer isn't just nice to have—it's essential.

Think of it as more than just a business card. After a cold call, handing over this flyer can make a lasting impression.

It's a tangible reminder of what your business offers.

However, you've got only 1 PAGE to communicate your message. Every word, every design element. It all has to count.

I learned this the hard way. My early flyers? They were a disaster, looking like they were pulled right out of the trash. 😅

That changed when I read "Traction" by Gino Wickman. The strategies I learned turned my flyers from forgettable to front-and-center.

I want to save you that hassle.

Below, you'll find a link to a downloadable template of my exact sales flyer.

P.S. It’s the same flyer that helped me successfully grow my vending business from 0 to 100+ machines in 4 years.

Now, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to create your own:

Step 1: Highlight Your 3 Uniques

What makes your vending services different? It's crucial to nail this down.

Maybe your machines offer an exclusive range of healthy snacks or local products not found in typical machines.

Or maybe it's your standout customer service, supported by a stack of glowing testimonials.

It could even be your cutting-edge smart tech that allows mobile payments and sends inventory alerts, elevating the user experience.

Spotlight these three unique aspects prominently. Make your flyer not just seen, but remembered.

Step 2: Present Your Proven Process

How you deliver matters just as much as what you deliver.

Here, I’d briefly walk them through my step-by-step process, from discovery to installation.

Keep it clear and accessible. This builds trust and shows your professionalism.

Step 3: Offer a Strong Guarantee

A strong guarantee builds trust. It reassures potential locations that you stand behind your service.

You can offer something like a satisfaction guarantee, showing that you’re confident in the value you provide.

Or commit to fast response times for any maintenance or emergency needs. You could also promise a high performance level, like 99.5% operational uptime, to prove the reliability of your machines.

Including these in your flyer can help make the decision easier.

Personally, I’d even offer a 30-day free trial. If customers don’t like it, I’d remove the machines, no questions asked.

Step 4: Showcase Machine Options

Help location owners see what you bring to the table by showcasing clear, professional photos of your machines. Here’s what to include:

  • A high-resolution image of your snack vending machine, filled with a variety of appealing snack options.

  • An image showing your drink vending machine, which could include sodas, juices, and water.

  • A picture of your combo vending machine that offers both snacks and drinks, ideal for locations with limited space.

These visuals should be clean, professional, and high-quality.

They make it easy for owners to imagine your machines in their locations and can significantly enhance the appeal of your flyer.

Step 5: Design with Attention-Capturing Elements

The look and layout of your flyer can make or break its effectiveness. Here’s how to make it work:

  • Create a Visual Hierarchy: Organize the content so it flows naturally. Key info, such as your unique features and guarantees, should be at the top or in bold to grab attention fast.

  • Stay on Brand: Use your brand’s colors, fonts, and logo consistently. This creates a cohesive look, builds brand recognition, and makes your flyer instantly familiar to your audience.

  • Use High-Quality Images: Sharp images of your vending machines or products bring your flyer to life and help potential clients visualize what you offer.

  • Include a Clear CTA: Make it easy for readers to act. Use a bold call-to-action, like scheduling a free consultation or visiting your website. Ensure it stands out with contrasting colors or a simple design.

And that’s a wrap!
